Flydubai has officially launched a comprehensive Flydubai Boeing 737 MAX retrofit program aimed at standardizing its premium cabin experience. The carrier will upgrade 21 of its existing Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, replacing current recliner-style regional business class seats with fully lie-flat beds. This delivery batch consists of seven Boeing 737-9 MAX jets and four Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft. Currently, cabin configurations vary; for instance, the Boeing 737-9 MAX aircraft feature 16 Business Class seats, whereas some of the existing 737-8 MAX jets offer 10 seats. By retrofitting the 21 identified MAX 8s, the airline aims to eliminate these discrepancies.
